- Two, three rakes (5,000 t) of sponge iron were sold at $395-400/t LTW eastern India, equivalent to $415-420/t CPT Nepal (FeM 79-80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%).
- Also, around 6,500 t of premium grade (FeM 80-81%) sponge iron deal was confirmed at $410/t LTW from Odisha belt, equivalent to $430/t CPT Nepal.
- About 13,000 t of sponge iron (FeM 79-80%, 100% lumps) was sold to Bangladesh recently at $420-425/t CPT Benapole.
