BigMint’s weekly price assessment increased by $2/t to $362/t CPT Nepal for FeM 80% (70:30 Mix). Offers for Bangladesh also rose by $3/t to $368/t CPT Benapole. Three rakes (7,600 t) of sponge iron were sold at $336-338/t, LTW in eastern India, equivalent to $360-362/t CPT Nepal. Additionally, about 2,600 t of PDRI sponge (78-79% FeM) for Nepal were sold by road at $310/t ex-mill in eastern India. Furthermore, approximately 8,300 t of sponge iron were sold to Bangladesh at around $365-368/t CPT Benapole.
