- Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%) offers surged by up to INR 300/t and 9,450 t of deals were concluded between INR 28,800-29,100/t exw on 23 Dec’22.
- Iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices increased by INR 400/t & around 4,350 t of deals were confirmed between INR 29,800-30,300/t exw.
- Active sponge iron buying and an improved demand in the spot market supported offers to remain positive d-o-d.
