Sponge iron export offers have risen further this week by $8-11/t. Despite some activity, overall demand remains moderate. Slight price increase is attributed to varying demand dynamics and market conditions. However, weak demand persists due to ongoing internal disturbances in Bangladesh. Approximately 12,000 t of sponge iron deals were tracked, with prices ranging between $363-$365/t CPT Raxaul and $377-$380/t CPT Benapole.
