- Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%), offers increased by INR 100/t and 6,200 t were concluded between INR 29,800-29,900/t exw against offers at INR 30,000/t exw on 6 Dec’22.
- Iron ore lump-based DRI (CDRI) prices inched up by INR 50/t & around 3,500 t deals were confirmed at INR 30,800-30,900/t exw.
- Despite moderate demand for semi-finished and finished steel, buying activity in sponge iron remained strong.
