India: About 10,000 t sponge iron deals concluded from Bellary

Sponge iron (FeM 80%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka moved up by INR 350-400/t on 8 July.
4,700 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 34,300-34,500/t exw, while, 5,300 t of lump-based DRI (CDRI) deals were recorded at INR 34,600-35,000/t exw.
Strong demand for sponge iron led to an increase in offers. Hyderabad billet prices rose by INR 500/t today.
