India: About 10,000 t of sponge iron traded in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s P-DRI (FeM 80%) sponge iron price assessment fell by INR 200/t to INR 32,400/t exw-Raipur. With drop in prices, spot trade improved following the rebound in offers in northern region.
9,600 t of FeM 78-80% P-DRI deals were recorded, 65% of which were concluded by Odisha-based plants. FeM 78% was traded at INR 32,000-32,200/t DAP Raipur, while FeM 79-80% was sold at INR 32,300-32,500/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
