India: 8,000 t of iron ore booked at today’s Karnataka auctions

U.Krishna Prasad auctioned 16,000 t of iron ore fines today, of which 8,000 t (Fe64.04%) were booked at base price of INR 4,725/t.
On the other hand, VESCO’s iron ore auction held today for 12,000 t each of fines (Fe58.25%) and lumps (Fe62.80%), with base prices at INR 3,550/t and INR 4,790/t respectively, failed to attract buyers.
Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET.
