India: 72,000 t of iron ore booked at auctions from Karnataka on 2 January

VESCO conducted two auctions of 68,000 t of iron ore. 24,000 t of fines (Fe63.5%) booked at INR 3,475/t and 24,000 t lumps (Fe64.25-64.95%) at INR 4,550-4,650/t. In another auction, 16,000 t lumps were booked at (Fe62.6-63.5%) INR 4,630/t.
U Krishna Prasad saw a booking of 4,000 t fines (Fe61.67%) and 4,000 t lumps (Fe61.78%) at floor prices of INR 3,200/t and INR 3,750/.
Prices include royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
