SAIL conducted an auction for 900 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 3-10mm) on 19 Jan’22 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. Buyers booked 300 t of silico manganese (Mn 52%, 0-3mm) at INR 59,525/t and 400 t (Mn 57%, 3-10mm) at INR 82,630/t . At the previous auction on 4 Jan, around 400 t of silico manganese (Mn 52%, 0-3mm) was booked at INR 58,750/t and 200 t (Mn 57%, 3-10mm) at INR 82,900/t .
