SAIL conducted an auction for 600 t of silico manganese (0-3mm, 3-10mm) on 28 Jan’22 from the Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. Buyers booked 400 t of silico manganese (HC 52-16, 0-3mm) at INR 59,950/t and 200 t (HC 56-16, 3-10mm) at INR 81,790/t. The H1 price for HC 52-16, 0-3mm material was settled at INR 65,355/t, and for grade HC 56-16, 3-10mm at INR 86,540/t.
