KSMCL conducted an auction for 216,000 t of iron ore from Bellary, Karnataka, on 5 Sep’24. As per sources, 12,000 t of fines (Fe 61.49-63.22%) were booked at the floor price of INR 4,086-4,200/t, and 28,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.02-62.55%) were booked at INR 4,358-4,405/t. Prices were on ex-mines basis, excluding royalty, DMF, and NMET.
