SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) conducted an auction for 3,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 22 Mar’23. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 40,000/t exw, sources informed. However, bid prices fell compared to the previous auction on 20 Feb’23, at which the entire quantity of 5,000 t was booked at an average price of INR 41,885/t exw.
