Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 800 t (3-10mm) silico manganese today from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant, Maharastra. The auction witnessed limited participation as only 400 t quantity fetched bid at INR 45,200/t exw SteelMint heard from its sources. In the previous auction conducted on 28 Jul’20 for 400 t, entire quantity of 3-10 mm was booked at INR 45,500-46,250/t .
