Ramamurthy Praveen Chandra held an iron ore auction of 172,000 t (both fines and lumps) on 2 Aug’22 from Chitradurga, Karnataka. According to market sources, the two lots of lumps of 12,000 t each (Fe57.70-64%) were booked at INR 3,700/t and INR 5,651/t, respectively against the base price of INR 3,690/t and INR 4,711/t while the remaining two lots of fines remained unsold. Prices are exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET charges.
