Vedanta scheduled an auction for the sale of around 20,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe59%) from its A. Narrain mines in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district on 9 December. According to sources, the entire material was sold at INR 3,839/t while the base price was set at INR 3,549/t. Prices were exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
