Vedanta scheduled an auction for the sale of around 20,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe58.50%) from its A. Narrain mines in Karnataka’s Chitradurga district on 14 December. According to sources, the entire material was sold at INR 3,677/t against the base price of INR 3,477/t. Prices were exclusive of royalty, DMF, and NMET charges.
