The Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 20,000 t of iron ore CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61%) from its Barsua mines in Odisha on 19 Apr’25. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 5,450/t against the base price of INR 5,400/t. Prices are on FOR loaded into rake basis and include royalty, DMF, NMET, and extra premium.
