SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) conducted an auction for 3,000 t of steel-grade pig iron on 24 Mar’23. Sources informed that only 1,800 t was booked at an average price of INR 38,500/t exw. Bids have fallen by INR 2,750/t compared to the last auction on 10 March at which the entire quantity of 900 t was booked at an average price of INR 41,250/t exw.
