NMDC’s steel plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, conducted an auction for 20,000 t of steel-grade pig iron (for road transport) on 18 Mar’25. Out of the total quantity, 17,000 t was booked at a base price of INR 34,000/t. At the previous auction, out of 10,000 t on offer, 2,500 t were booked at the base price of INR 34,500/t.
