Vedanta Ltd conducted an auction for 16,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 54.5%) from its A.Narrain Mines in Karnataka on 20 Mar’24. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at the base price of INR 3,520/t. The price is ex-mines/plot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
