Vedanta Limited conducted an auction for 16,000 t of iron ore lumps from Karnataka on 6 Apr’26. According to sources, 8,000 t lumps (6-40 mm, Fe 54.25%) were booked at INR 4,810/t, 4,000 t siliceous lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 50%) were booked at the base price of INR 2,700/t while 4,000 t siliceous lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 48.5%) were booked at INR 2,710/t . Price is on ex-mine basis and excluding royalty, DMF and NMET.
