Vedanta Ltd conducted an auction for 16,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.5%) from its A. Narrain Mines in Karnataka on 10 Apr’24. According to sources, the entire quantity was booked at INR 4,060-4,070/t. The price is on ex-mines/plot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
