India: 15,400 t of sponge iron deals concluded for Nepal, Bangladesh

As per a recent update, 2,700 t of sponge pellets (FeM 79-80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%) were sold to a Nepal-based mill at $390-395/t LTW eastern India (equivalent to $412/t CPT Nepal). In another deal, 2,700 t of sponge iron (FeM 81%) were sold at $430/t LTW ($453/t CPT Nepal).
A 10,000 t of sponge iron (FeM 79-80%, 100% lumps) deal was concluded for Bangladesh at $452-455/t CPT Benapole.
