BigMint’s weekly price assessment dropped by $3/t to $353/t CPT Nepal, (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%). Four rakes (9,000 t) of sponge iron were sold at around $325-330/t loaded to wagon eastern India, equivalent to $350-355/t CPT Nepal (FeM 80%, lumps 70%, fines 30%). 1,500 t of PDRI (FeM 78%) was concluded for Nepal by road at $292/t ex mill, eastern India. About 1,500 t of sponge iron was sold to Bangladesh at around $360/t CPT Benapole.
