Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Ltd (ASAL) had conducted an auction for HR-CR punching scrap from its Pune-Maharashtra plant on 28 Mar’23. About 1,200 t was booked at INR 40,800/t exw, sources informed. At the previous auction too, on 23 March, 1,200 t was booked at INR 36,000/t exw. However, due to the lower bids, the plant re-auctioned the material yesterday.
