SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) conducted an auction for 2,900 t of steel grade pig iron on 11 Mar’23. About 1,100 t of material was booked at a floor price of INR 40,570/t exw, sources informed. At the last auction conducted on 6 Mar’23, the entire quantity put up for sale i.e., 4,000 t was booked at an average price of INR 40,850/t exw.
