Out of 15 MnT Iron ore which is to be sold via e-auctions, DMG sold out 2.1 MnT (2,115,763 MT) of the material in last 3 e-auctions out of offered 2.4 MnT (2,464,604 MT). In the future e-auctions, suspension of Iron ore mining operations in Odisha may not impact Goa e-auction prices, as it is driven by international market rates.

The total quantity of Iron ore that has been exported from e-auction 1 & 2 is 0.23 MnT (234,600 MT).

In Nov’13, Goa government allowed sale of 15 MnT Iron ore stockpile lying at jetty (4 MnT,) port (0.2 MnT) & mines head (10.8 MnT).
