Importers of Indian Pig iron might not bid above $411/MT FOB

NINL and RINL have offered a total of 90,000 tons of Pig iron to overseas buyers.

Takers of Indian Pig iron such as Stemcor, Prime Carbon GmbH and LG International told SteelMint, “Chances are less that Indian exporters might receive bids above $411/MT FOB, at which the last exports deal was concluded.

The tender might fetch bids around $410/MT as Pig iron demand in the international countries has not met with a big change and requirement in the present day is decent.”

LG International sold out Indian Pig iron imported in January to China and Vietnam, Prime Carbon GmbH to Malaysia and China and Stemcor to Southeast Asia and Far East.
