Imported scrap vessel of 23,000 t set to arrive at Indian port

  • A vessel carrying a total of 23,282 t of HMS 1&2 (80:20) scrap cargo from Venezuela (South America) is all set to arrive at Chennai port, according to vessel line up data maintained with SteelMint.
  • In Jan-Oct’21, India has imported 3.18 mn t of scrap, down 8% as compared to 3.46 mn t in Jan-Oct’20.
