Global thermal coal prices remained stable due to less demand from
India and China.
Price of thermal coal (3800 GAR at Indonesia on free on
board basis) is $34/MT i.e. unchanged from the previous price. On the other hand
price for (6000 NAR South African Coal) is at $80/MT (FOB) down by $2/MT.
Currently there are no buyers in the market for prevailing
offers, may be in near term the market is expected to revive said a trader of
coal based in Mumbai.
