A few indications for Chinese-origin HRC (SS400) into Pakistan were heard at around $660-665/t CFR Karachi, rising by $35-45/t from previous week’s assessment of $620-630/t CFR. Supply disruptions amidst production cuts lent support to Chinese offers despite weak demand in Pakistan. Also, offers from Russia were heard at $600/t CFR, and from Japan at $640-650/t CFR.
