IF mills in central India slash re-bar prices by up to INR 1,500/t ($20/t)

Central India (Raipur)- based integrated steel mills Goel TMT decreased prices of rebar by INR 1,500/t ($20/t) to INR 63,000/t exw while GK TMT has down by INR 1,200/t ($16) to INR 63,300 exw Raipur (Fe 500D, 10-25mm), excluding GST. Declining demand and falling prices of sponge iron and steel billets triggered the sharp fall in rebar prices, SteelMint notes.
