ICVL opens a tender for feasibility study for setting up steel plant at Indonesia

International Coal Ventures (ICVL) has opened a tender for feasibility study for setting up an integrated steel plant of suitable capacity & development of mineral deposits, coking coal, thermal coking coal, iron ore in Indonesia.

 

In ICVL, SAIL and CIL each hold a 28% share and RINL, NMDC and NTPC have 14% participating interest each. These plants wants to study the feasibility of the project in order to formulate a strategy for setting up high-capacity coking coal, iron ore, limestone and dolomite mines and an integrated steel plant. 

 

Feasibility study for steel plant, the study would also involve a topographical survey, soil testing and related record verification and documentation.

 

ICVL had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesia for development of mineral deposits and setting up a mineral processing facility.
