Hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in northwestern Europe have remained stable during the last week & deals made for May delivery are said to be in the range of€ 540-560/MT ex-works base.
Mills are holding firm to their higher prices, but large service centers and stockiest told that these levels have not been fully achieved yet.
A major stockholder in Germany said he agreed with European producers for HRC supply in May at € 540/MT ex-works base, stressing that this level shows stability in the market.
A small stockholder in Benelux, located in North western Europe quoted HRC spot prices at € 560/MT ex-works base saying prices are increasing step by step.
