HR strip (patra) prices fell by INR 600/t ($8/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 300/t ($4/t) in Raipur on 30 June’22. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 53,000/t ($671/t) exw-Mandi and INR 52,600/t ($666/t) exw-Raipur, excluding GST at 18%.
On a monthly basis, prices dropped by INR 5,200/t ($66/t) in Raipur and by INR 4,850/t ($61/t) in Mandi in June.
