Haldia Energy Limited (HEL), a subsidiary of CESC Limited, invites a tender for purchase of 50,000 MT +/- 10% imported non coking thermal coal in Supramax/ Part-Panamax shipment at Paradip/Haldia port on CIF basis or on FOR landed bases at HEL plant ex Paradip/Dhamra/Haldia ports.
The material is required for 2×300 MW thermal power plant at Haldia, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal in Mar’17.
Eligibility criteria
1. The bidder must have experience in supplying at least 1 MnT of imported non coking coal in each of last two financial years to any industrial utility in India directly or through PSU.
2. The source mines must have a minimum production capacity of 1 MnT per annum with minimum known balance reserve of 5 MnT.
3. The bidder must submit mine support letter (for Indonesian grade) with two quality test reports.
4. Consortiums are not permitted.
