Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur, central India, reduced offers today by INR 1,000/t. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 54,000/t exw. The sharp fall in semi-finished steel prices in key markets, sluggish market sentiments and soft purchase enquiries in the structural steel segment forced producers to lower offers. Discounts offered by the suppliers are around INR 1,000-1,200/t.
