Heavy rainfalls in Northern and Western India have disturbed construction activities leading to poor demand in finish steel, report market sources.
“Some parts of India is facing unexpectedly facing heavy rains, this has hampered constructional activity.But we are sure once it stops construction will start again in good swing specially after Noida extension has got clearances.More and more houses will be built which were due from last one year.” said a builder based in New Delhi.
Heavy rains has also hampered construction activity in Maharastra leading to fall in steel prices this week, reported local steel traders.
