Godawari Power and Ispat Ltd (GPIL) has increased domestic pellet offers by INR 300/t ($4/t) to INR 9,100/t exw ($114/t) from INR 8,800/t ($111/t) seen till yesterday. Confirmed deals of 25,000 t were recorded recently at the previous offer. However, offers from other Raipur-based pellet producers are stable at INR 8,800-8,900/t ($111-112/t) exw. The hike in sponge iron prices and recent deal led to the rise in pellet offers, SteelMint notes.
