Govt. of Goa today released base prices for 8th iron ore e-auction to be held tomorrow.
Department of Mines & Geology (DMG), Goa has released the base prices for its 8th iron ore e-auction which is to be conducted tomorrow. 1.1 MnT iron ore would be offered through 60 proposed lots. The offer comprises of 0.88 MnT ROM, 0.12 MnT fines & 0.10 MnT lump.
Material being offered ranges from grade Fe 46-65%. Fines being offered have iron ore content ranging from Fe 46-61%, ROM from Fe 49-65% and lump of grade ranging from Fe 46-63%.
Sources mentioned that exports are lucrative at current base prices, thus participation from exporters is expected to be encouraging this time. ROM ranging from grade Fe 49-65% offered by Codli Mines is base priced at INR 500/MT. Fines (Fe 56%) is base priced at INR 570-690/MT. And lump (Fe 56%) are having base prices of INR 690/MT.
