Spot steam coal prices in South Africa's Richards Bay the continent's biggest terminal for shipping the fuel rose on Monday.
South Africa's Richards Bay 6000 kc NAR FOB price stands at $ 90.49 i.e. up by $ 2.81/MT.
Whereas Australia's McCloskey 6700 kc GAD FOB price stands at $ 88.05 up by $ 1.30/MT.
The rise in the prices is considered to be the third highest gain from April. Prices quoted are on Free On Board basis, which excludes delivery costs.
