Global crude steel production declines by 4.6% y-o-y in Nov’25 – WSA

Global crude steel production declined by 4.6% y-o-y to 140.1 mnt in Nov’25, according to the World Steel Association (WSA). Moreover on a monthly basis output edged down by 2.2% m-o-m from 143.3 mnt in Oct’25.

• China’s production dropped by 10.9% y-o-y to 69.9 mnt.
• India’s output rose by 10.8% y-o-y to 13.7 mnt.
• Japan’s production edged down by 1.6% y-o-y to 6.8 mnt.
