Global aluminium production rises m-o-m in May’24: IAI

According to latest data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI), aluminium production in May’24 has increased reaching 6.134 mnt, marking a 4% m-o-m rise. Similarly, production rose 3 % y-o-y from 5.930 mnt in May 2023. Notably, China, as the primary aluminium producer, accounted for 3.650 mnt, indicating a 4% increase from the preceding month’s 3.507 mnt.
