Global aluminium production rises around 4%, m-o-m, in May

The world’s primary aluminium production rose 3.64% in May’22 to 5.805 mnt from 5.601 mnt in Apr, as per estimated figures released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI).
China emerged as the world’s largest producer with an estimated 3.42 mnt of production in May, a 4% rise m-o-m, as per data compiled by SteelMint.
Notably, China accounted for 58.9% of total global production of aluminium.
