Global aluminium production drops by 10% m-o-m in Feb’23

World’s aluminium production decreased by 10% m-o-m to 5.27 mnt in Feb’23 compared to 5.83 mnt in Jan’23, according to International Aluminium Institute (IAI) data.
China was the largest producer at 3.1 mnt, contributing around 59% to world’s output.
On a y-o-y basis, production inched up by 2% from 5.15 mnt in Feb’22.
