Global alumina production remains stable m-o-m in Jan’23

Global alumina production continued to remain largely stable with a slight decrease of 0.43% m-o-m to 11.64 mnt in Jan’23 compared to 11.69 mnt in Dec’22, according to data from the International Aluminium Institute (IAI). China accounted for a significant share of 57% in the global production at 6.7 mnt, stood stable m-o-m with a slight fall of 0.3% from 6.68 mnt in the previous month.
