“Production capacity in the state of Tamil Nadu has come down further. Plants are running at 40%-45% capacity for now which was around 50%-60% earlier.
Power cut issues are still continuing. Presently, power is available for close to six hours on a daily basis for industrial units, which was supplied for around eight hours earlier to this” manufacturers from the state told SteelMint.
“We expect issues relating to production and power supply to improve after the month of June. Things might normalize in the next month” they added.
