Freight on Imported Coal to India decline by $1.5/MT

Freight on Imported
coal from Indonesia to Indian ports went down by US$ 1.5/MT. Freight
to East Coast India reaches US$ 11/MT and US$ 14.50/MT to West Coast
India.

Freight Cost for
Australian Supramax vessels to East Coast India have also declined by US$
1.5/MT to reach US$ 20/MT

Further, cost for
South African vessels to East Coast & West Coast India went down to US$
18.50/MT and US$ 19.50/MT respectively.

In
addition, freight charges to Indian ports have declined by
US$ 2.5/MT since last week.Experts are of view that such decrease in the
freight charges could be result of low traffic and arrival of monsoon in India.
