Lesser buying interest coupled with weaker demand might have forced steel makers in Raipur to reduce the offers for finished products by Rs 400-500/MT..* Market players expect the trade to remain dull during the week as festivities like Holi is round the corner..
Whereas, finished prices in places like Chennai have moved up as demand seems to support well. Steelmakers in Indore are on a strike to protest the hike in entry tax announced in the current Budget. Previously the tax was 1% and it has been now hiked to around 5%.
